Anea Meinert studied Communication Science with a minor in Political Science (B.A.) at the University of Mannheim from 2017 to 2021 and Media and Political Communication (M.A.) at Freie Universität Berlin from 2021 to 2023. During her bachelor's degree, she worked as a tutor, and as a research assistant for the DFG project "Politikvermittlung an der Schnittstelle von Unterhaltung und Information". Following her working student job in PR, she started working as a research assistant in the DFG project "Responsible Terrorism Coverage" at the chair of Prof. Dr. Romy Fröhlich in January 2024.
Resarch Focus: Political communication, right-wing extremism, extreme right-wing climate and environmental protection, terrorism.
