Further Information

Hannah Bauer studied “Crossmedia Journalism and Public Relations” (B.A.) at the Stuttgart Media University from 2018 to 2022 and also spent half a year at the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Aarhus as part of her Bachelor's degree. In 2022, she moved to Erfurt for her Master's degree in Health Communication (M.Sc.), which she completed in 2024. In her master's thesis, she dealt with strategies for communicating diagnostic uncertainty in post-viral syndromes. In addition to her Master's degree, she has worked as a research assistant at the University of Erfurt's Chair of Health Communication for nearly two years, primarily in the EU Horizon 2020 project “JITSUVAX - Jiu-Jitsu with misinformation in the age of COVID”.

Since January 2025, Hannah Bauer has been working as a research assistant and doctoral student in the DFG-funded international and interdisciplinary research project “AWARE”.
