Further Information
Ulrike Schwertberger studied Media and Communication Science with Business Administration at the University of Mannheim and the University of Connecticut from 2014 to 2018 (Bachelor) and Communication Science (Master)
at LMU Munich from 2018 to 2020. During her studies, she first worked in corporate communications and was then a student assistant at LMU Munich from 2018.
Since October 2020, Ulrike Schwertberger has been working as a research assistant at IfKW. Since May 2023, she has been working in a project at the chair of Prof. Dr. Diana Rieger.
Research Focus
Her research interests include digital media (effects) research, especially communication and media use in group settings. Thereby, Ulrike Schwertberger focuses on radicalization dynamics in digital environments and investigates multi-screening processes in entertainment contexts.
