Further Information
I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Media and Communication at LMU Munich. I hold a Walter Benjamin Fellowship from the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) for my project on the mediation of global refugee crises and computational social science. My long-standing research focuses on the (de)politicization, platformization, datafication, and algorithmization of global humanitarian crisis mediation from a comparative media systems perspective. Before joining LMU Munich, I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Cologne, a master’s degree in media studies in the UK, and a bachelor's degree in communication and information engineering in China.
