Resarch Focus

Pablo Jost researches the impact of digitalization on the communication of political and social actors. His research interests include the representation of social controversies in the media as well as the communication of political actors and their adaptation to the changes in the digital media. His current research focuses on the communication of radical and extremist protest movements on digital platforms and its offline effects. Further, he explores the methodological challenges of identifying and classifying non-institutional actors on digital platforms..
